"Save a Life, Stop a Crime, Report a Fire"

The police department employs the Enhanced 9-1-1 system. This system automatically displays the name, address and phone number of the location where   the phone call was made. But callers are asked this information for verification purposes. The system has greatly assisted the department in responding to medical emergencies where the victim was not able to speak and in situations such as domestic violence, where the victim was too afraid to speak.

The Holliston Police Department responds to all silent and/or hang-up 9-1-1 calls
